Haryana News: Haryana Prime Minister Manohar Lal Khattar held a press conference on Wednesday. In this press conference, the CM informed about the continuous efforts of the Haryana government for the convenience of the citizens. He also said that the government is taking important decisions to improve the economic condition of farmers.

In the press conference, CM Manohar Lal said that the heavy rains and floods in the past few days have caused huge losses to the farmers. Haryana Government has created an e-compensation page to compensate the losses incurred by the farmers. On this portal, farmers can apply for supplies for losses caused by floods and rains. After confirmation of the status, the regional officer of the state department will make the payment through DBT.

The government has also launched the “my water my heritage” scheme to control the falling groundwater level. Farmers cultivating any crop other than paddy will be given an amount of Rs 7000 per acre under this scheme. To provide relief to the farmers, the Haryana Government has recently given a fixed amount under this scheme to the farmers who are planting paddy in place of the paddy crop which has been affected by rain and flood.

Beneficial Bhavantar Bharpay scheme for farmers: Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that “Bhavantar Bharpayee scheme” has been implemented in the state also. Haryana government will give a fixed amount of Rs 600 and Rs 450 to the farmers under this scheme. But the central government has also allowed market purchase of 2.5 lakh tonnes at MSP. He said that the Haryana government constantly monitors the prices of millet. He said that the government is always ready to help the farmers and cattle herders.
