When to fast for mahashivratri 2023?

According to the Hindu calendar, the Chaturthi Tithi of Shravan Krishna Paksha will begin at 8:32 PM on July 15 and end at 10:08 PM on July 16. Worshiping Lord Shiva on the fast of Shivratri has special significance. This time Shivratri fast will be observed on Saturday, 15th July.

What is the time of Worship Muhurat for Mahashivratri 2023?

Information has been given in the scriptures. That on the occasion of Shivratri, devotees should worship Lord Shiva in four hours. On the day of Shivratri, the first Prahar can be worshiped from 7:21 pm to 9:54 pm. Whereas for the second phase, the time of auspicious time will be from 9:54 to 12: 27 minutes.

The worship of the third Prahar will be from 12:27 in the night to 3:03 in the morning, while the fourth Prahar will remain till 5:33 in the morning. The fasting time of Sawan's Shivratri will be from 5:33 am to 3:54 pm on July 16.
