4 friends went swimming in the river on vacation; But Anmu's trip ended in tragedy due to a miscalculation of the water level
Nilesh Zade, Chandrapur: An unfortunate incident took place on Sunday (November 2) afternoon at Turana Ghat of Wardha river near Warora city. Two of the four friends who had gone for swimming drowned in the river, while the other two were saved due to the promptness shown by a cowherd. The names of the deceased children are Rupesh Khulsange (13) and Pranay Bhoyar (15), both of whom are residents of Warora city.
Jumped into the river without taking the risk of the current
According to the information received, four friends from Warora city, Rupesh Khulsange, Pranay Bhoyar, Umang Atram and Krishna Kuijade, had gone to Turana Ghat of Wardha river for swimming on Sunday afternoon. The river flow seemed calm, however, due to the unpredictable water level, all four of them entered deep water and started drowning within a few moments.
At that time, a cowherd who was with his herd of cattle on the bank of the river saw this scene and jumped into the river without delay. His bravery saved the lives of two children, Umang Atram and Krishna Kuijade. Unfortunately, the remaining two, Rupesh and Pranay, were lost in deep water. The herdsman tried to search for them, but he was unsuccessful. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Warora police reached the spot. The search operation has started again since Monday morning, and efforts are being made to find the bodies of the children with the help of the local administration, police and divers.

The incident has spread mourning in the Warora area. The citizens are expressing grief over the death of the minor children. The most talked about thing in this entire incident is the brave effort of the herdsman, who risked his own life to save the lives of the two children.
