A Special Train Will Run From Gorakhpur To Delhi, Know The Route And Timing

Gorakhpur To Delhi Special Train: In view of the huge crowd on Diwali and Chhath Puja, Izzatnagar Railway Division is planning to run three special Puja trains from next week. The operating department has planned. Three trains will be run as soon as approval is received from the headquarters. Which goes from Lalkuan to Kanpur via Farrukhabad, from Lalkuan to Bangalore and from Tanakpur to Jaipur. Passengers will get a lot of relief from these trains.

PRO Rajendra Singh told that preparations are being made to perform three special pujas. The proposal has not yet been approved by the headquarters. A decision will probably be taken next week. The Railway Board will operate the Pooja special trains as soon as it gets the green signal from the headquarters.

From November 5, special train (05023/05024) from Gorakhpur to Delhi will run every Sunday from Gorakhpur from November 05 to December 03 and every Monday from Delhi to Gorakhpur from November 06 to December 04, 2023. From 05 November to 03 December, Delhi Puja special train will depart from Gorakhpur on every Sunday. The train will leave Gorakhpur at 2055 hrs and reach Khalilabad at 2133 hrs, Basti at 2203 hrs, Gonda at 2335 hrs. On the second day, Burhwal will leave at 0042 hrs, Sitapur at 0305 hrs, Bareilly at 0620 hrs, Moradabad at 0810 hrs and Ghaziabad at 1110 hrs. Delhi 1230 hrs

In return, (05024) Delhi-Gorakhpur Puja train will depart from Delhi at 1430 hrs every Monday from 6th November to 4th December and reach Ghaziabad at 1605 hrs, Moradabad at 1905 hrs, Bareilly at 2105 hrs. On the second day, the train will leave Sitapur at 0015 hrs, Burhwal at 0335 hrs, Gonda at 0430 hrs, Basti at 0605 hrs and Khalilabad at 0637 hrs and reach Gorakhpur at 0730 hrs.

Due to the festival of Diwali, fighting and jostling to board the trains has started. There is huge crowd in Delhi-Punjab trains on Friday. There were circumstances when there was no space to board the trains. There was a scuffle. The coach was hanging at the gate, and the passengers were walking. The situation was mostly in the train. To stay safe, Railways was also alerted by the announcement. Do not undertake risky journeys.

Railway officials say. That special trains are also being run in view of the crowd. Passengers want to travel in regular express trains more than special trains. This is the reason for seats remaining vacant in special trains. Passengers say. That they do not trust special trains. Where to stop?

On Friday, the special train (04677) from Firozpur to Ambala arrived at 908 am at around 12 noon. There was heavy crowd in many trains including Assam, Jammu Tawi, Doon in the down line.
