Alert of Heavy Rain With Strong Storm in Haryana & Rajasthan! Yellow Alert issued For These Districts

Weather Alert: There is a possibility of rain and storm in many parts of the country during Navratri. The Japan Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain and storm in many parts of the country till October 19.

On October 17, isolated areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad were affected, but there is a possibility of rain.

Apart from North India, rain has also been predicted in many parts of South India. According to IMD, light to moderate rain is likely at many places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Karaikal and Mahe till October 17. There may also be heavy rain and thundershowers for some time. Along with this, strong winds will also blow at a speed of 30. up to 40 km per hour

There is a possibility of storm along with heavy rain

Parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands are also likely to experience light rain and thundershowers till October 19. The meteorologist also said: No significant change in maximum temperatures is expected over most parts of the country in the next five days. Till 30th October.

The weather office also said that heavy rains are likely over parts of Kerala, coastal and southern interior states Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and islands from October 20-21.

The weather office has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated areas of Kerala and Mahe on October 16. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Tamil Nadu.

Meanwhile, Yellow rain is likely over parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Karaikal and Mahe Islands on October 17.
