Ambala News: Planes Will Soon Fly From Ambala, Haryana Govt Purchased 20 Acres of Land

 

Ambala :- There is a big good news for the residents of the district. Yes, let the people living in Ambala district know that flights are going to start from the area soon. Steps have been taken by the state government for this. To establish a civil enclave along with Ambala Air Force Station, the state government has transferred an amount of Rs 133 crore to the account of the Defense Estate Officer.

After the amount is transferred the further process will be faster

Home Minister Anil Vij says. Everyone is making efforts to start flight service from Ambala soon. The transfer of Rs 133 crore to the Defense Estate Officer located near the Defense Ministry will now speed up the further process. He further said that soon a terminal will also be built for the civil enclave adjacent to the Air Force station at a cost of Rs 16 crore. Civil enclave is to be established here under RCS UDAN programme.

Providing land is really challenging

Formalities for acquiring land for the airport have been completed. It is due to his efforts that civil enclave is being established along with the Air Force station. Providing 20 acres of land along with the Air Force station for the Civil Enclave was indeed a challenge. The vacant land of Military Dairy Farm was declared technically correct by the Airport Authority of India (AAI) and other departments. This land was under the Defense Ministry. Civil enclave could be formed only when this land came under the control of the state government. This was a challenging task.

Proposal to name the airport Amba Airport

Now this work has been started by sending an amount of Rs 133 crore to the Defense Ministry for 20 acres of land. The terminal of Civil Enclave will be constructed on the land of Military Dairy Farm, right next to the Air Force Station. After check-in at the terminal, passengers will be taken to the aircraft inside the Air Force station by bus.
