Representative Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A Hindkesari Captain bull, known in Marathwada for its strong build, shiny body, graceful gait and great strength and speed, has been sold for a whopping Rs 16 lakh 51 thousand. This Captain from the village of Waki in Kannada taluka of the district has been bought by an animal lover from Baitul village in Madhya Pradesh. The sale of the Hindkesari Captain bull for Rs 16 lakh has made the Captain the talk of the district.
This Hindkesari bull named Captain belongs to Haridas Bajirao Janjal, an animal lover from Waki, an ideal village in Kannada taluka of the district. The Janjal family is an animal lover. Haridas Janjal is renowned in the field of animal husbandry. He takes good breed animals and works on regular maintenance, balanced diet and training them. From this work, he had prepared the Mysore Thilari breed Captain bull.
While taking care of the Captain, Janjal had kept two gates for maintenance. At the same time, two cows were bought for milk. The two cows gave five liters of milk in the morning and evening. This milk was given to the Captain regularly. The Captain had to be bathed regularly. He did not sit down without a mat. The Captain weighed two quintals 80 kg and was five feet six inches tall. Due to this beauty, the Captain was known as an ideal bull in Panchkrosh. When Haridas Janjal took the Captain to a competition, during the competition, Ramprasad Rathod, an animal lover from Uttar Pradesh, caught sight of the Captain. And there he decided to buy the Captain. From this, the Captain was sold for 16 lakh 51 thousand rupees.
Captain was not just a bull for us, but a member of the family. Taking care of the Captain was a matter of pride for us. The sadness will remain as soon as he leaves us. However, it has been reported in Panchkrosh that such a large turnover is generated from animal husbandry. Owner Haridas Janjal has commented that this is attracting young farmers towards animal husbandry.
