Delhi Schools Will Remain Closed For So Many Days, Decision Taken Due To Pollution

 

Delhi News : Pollution is highest in NCR, including Delhi, the country's capital. In such a situation, Delhi government declared holiday in schools. Now schools have also been closed by Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar administration. Schools will remain closed for three days due to pollution. There will be a holiday for schools in the district from November 8 to November 10. This order will remain in force till class 9th.

Schools closed till 10 in Delhi

In Delhi also, it was decided to close primary schools till 10th November. All schools in Delhi will remain closed till class five. Delhi government has seen increasing pollution. Delhi's Education Minister Atishi wrote on Twitter that the level of pollution has continuously increased. Therefore, primary schools will remain closed till 10th November. Schools have been given the option to shift to online classes in grades 6-12. Every school is a holiday in Delhi.

Pollution in Delhi-NCR

The air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 421 in Delhi on Monday. As of Sunday, however, there was a decrease of 33 points. Wind was severe in 24 areas including Jahangirpuri and Wazirpur. There was smog since morning. In such a situation, the same situation is expected to persist till Thursday. After Delhi, Greater Noida NCR has the most polluted air. Delhi has started the fourth phase of Graded Response Action Plan.

On Monday, AQI was recorded in the severe category in 24 areas in Delhi. Whereas there was a decrease in four areas since Sunday. The air was very bad in five areas. In this, 458 AQI was recorded in Jahangirpuri, 455 in Wazirpur, 453 in Patparganj, 450 in Punjabi Bagh, 447 in RK Puram and 445 in Rohini. The AQI was severe in many areas, including 439 in Mundka and 433 in Anand Vihar. In six areas, the AQI was very poor at 398 in DTU and 362 in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
