DMRC issued a Big Announces, Now Passengers Will Get This Special Facility in Delhi Metro

 

Metro: For your information, let us tell you that there is good news for metro passengers, now the construction of three corridors being built in Metro Phase-Four has been completed so far, more than forty percent. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has increased the pace of construction work in the corridor. The first of which, Janakpuri West-RK Ashram Corridor, is likely to be ready soon. In this, a four km long elevated road has been built from Majlis Park to Mukarba Chowk. Now the work of laying metro tracks and power generation is going on here. The Metro will run driverless on all three corridors. These three corridors will take about three years to complete. Phase-4 corridor will be ready by 2026.

The total diameter of these 3 corridors will be 65.10 km. 27.08 km portion will be underground and 38.01 km portion will be aquatic. 45 stations will be built on all three corridors. These include Tughlakabad-Aerocity corridor 23.62 km, Janakpuri West-RK Ashram corridor 28.92 km and Majlis Pak-Maujpur corridor 12.55 km. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said that the process of awarding the work of installation of metro tracks and over head equipment (OHE) on the newly constructed elevated in Janakpuri West-RK Ashram corridor is underway. It will be implemented at this location soon. The elevated corridor is also being constructed rapidly between Haiderpur Badli Mor and Keshopur. This corridor will have seven underground and fifteen elevated metro stations on the Janakpuri West-RK Ashram corridor.

Delay in granting permission to remove trees, Corona also affected the work

The construction of the elevated corridor of Janakpuri-RK Ashram metro line had earlier started in phase four. Construction was also delayed due to permission to remove trees. At the same time, when Corona infection started in 2020, the construction work was affected. After this there was some delay. The construction work has now intensified. Metro management is working keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers.

After expansion, metro will start running on Pink Line between Maujpur-Majlis Park.

Metro said that eight stations are being built on the Pink Line between Majlis Park and Maujpur. After the expansion of the Pink Line, metro will start running between Maujpur-Majlis Park. The metro ring corridor built later on the Pink Line will be 70 km long. At present, metro is running on Pink Line at a distance of about 59 km.

There are 286 total stations

Delhi Metro network is 391 km long. In which there are 286 stations. Which also includes Noida-Greater Noida Corridor and Rapid Metro, Gurugram.
