Water filled in schools of Ambala and Kurukshetra due to heavy rains

Due to heavy rains (Flood In Haryana), 430 schools in Ambala caused water-logging in 203 government schools in Kurukshetra, due to which children had to take leave. While on one side the rains damaged the crops, on the other side the animals are also not getting a place to live. Due to waterlogging in the cow shed in Ambala, animals were tied on the roof. Twelve relief camps have been opened for the people trapped in the water. 13 thousand food packets have been delivered to the people trapped in their homes. Due to heavy rains, 3 kanwariyas were also washed away in Kurukshetra.
