Good News: 4 Lane Elevated Road Will Be Built With Rs 261 Crore, Will Connect With Ring Road

 

Ring road project: Now tourism is going to get more boost in Sarnath in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Because there is a preparation to build a four-lane elevated road from the District Education and Training Institute to the Ring Road to connect the Buddhist Circuit with Sarnath. After the construction of this four lane road, the problem of water logging on the road will be solved. An amount of Rs 261 crore is estimated to be spent on this project.

Let us tell you that Railway Over Bridge (ROB) is also included in this fourlane elevated road. So that the traffic is not disrupted. Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma had asked the Government Bridge Corporation to conduct a survey and prepare a proposal. Public Works (PWD) and National Highway Transport Authority (NHAI) cooperated. Detailed Project Report (DPR) worth Rs 300 crore is ready.

The length of the road is 1400 meters. Earlier a proposal of Rs 261 crore was sent to the government. Thousands of domestic and foreign tourists visit Sarnath, the place of Lord Buddha's first sermon, every day. There are also temples from countries like China, Tibet, Japan, Cambodia, Korea, Vietnam etc. First, there were preparations to build a four-lane road from the museum to Munari road and then from Singhpur village, but later it was done from Sarnath railway station. Former Divisional Commissioner Deepak Aggarwal had made a plan with the Public Works Department to build a four-lane road from Sarnath to Ring Road, but the file could not move forward.

Tourists go directly to Sarnath from the airport. After darshan and worship there, we leave for Bodh Gaya, Kushinagar and Lumbini via Chandauli. It will be easy for tourists to reach Ring Road from Sarnath. Tourists will also be able to go to Nepal via Gorakhpur from there.

The road will be built like this

The elevated road will start from the District Education and Training Institute and will reach the Ring Road, crossing the water treatment plant and railway crossing. Waterlogging keeps happening on the other side of the railway crossing. The land labels are below the Ring Road. In such a situation, Setu Nigam has decided to build an elevated road. In the 1400 meter long elevated road, about 900 meters of land belongs to the water pond (pond) and about five meters of land belongs to the farmer.

The pond will be beautified

The Divisional Commissioner has asked to take complete possession of the water account land. Along with making a dam on that land, greenery, fountains along the pathway etc. will be installed so that it can be developed as a tourist destination. Colorful lights will also be installed there. Due to this, the budget increased from Rs 261 crore to Rs 300 crore.
