Good News For Those Traveling on Haryana Roadways
Jind: While traveling in Haryana Roadways buses, passengers and conductors have to face trouble for change. But now to solve their problem, the Roadways Headquarters has issued a letter to round off the fare. Round off figure fare has also been updated in E-Ticketing machine. This will solve the problem faced while taking fair.

Roadways Headquarters has issued a letter to all the General Managers saying this. That now the bus fare will be charged in round figures. He has written in the letter. That by amending the notification of the State Government on 15 May 2020, under 17 October 2023, fares of Rs 2, 25 paise and above in ordinary buses, luxury air-conditioned buses and inter-state luxury air-conditioned buses of Haryana State Transport will be reduced from Rs 5 to round figure and Fares less than Rs 2 25 paise will now be counted. The District Headquarters has sent a letter to the General Management and ordered to implement this rule with immediate effect.

Statement of General Manager of Jind Depot
General Manager of Jind Depot, Kamaljeet Singh said that in ordinary buses, luxury buses and air-conditioned buses, fares of Rs 2 50 paise and above will be charged at Rs 5 and fares less than Rs 2 25 paise will be charged on uncounted basis. The conductors and passengers faced a lot of problems in getting the fare without Round Off Figure. Roadways was not able to provide even more than Rs 500 change to the operators. This often led to altercations between the conductors and the bus passengers.
