Bihar New Highway: For your information, let us tell you that this year the construction of five NHs will start in Bihar. This includes Ram Janaki Marg NH-227A, Siwan to Mashrakh 4 lane, Jaynagar-Darbhanga NH-105, Munger-Bhagalpur NH-80, Ekangarsarai ROB NH-110 and Chausa-Buxar bypass NH-319A.
All these are to be constructed by 2025. However, this delay may also occur. In this, tenders have been made for both Ram-Janaki Marg, NH-227A, Siwan to Mashrakh 4 lane and 4 lane Railway Over Bridge (R&B) near Ekangarsarai, NH-110.
The construction agency is likely to be selected this month. Also, tenders for Jaynagar to Darbhanga Highway 105, Munger to Sultanganj Highway 80 and Chausa to Buxar Bypass Highway 319A will start soon. After the construction of all these roads, lakhs of people living in different districts of the state will get transportation facilities.
National Highway-227A
A tender has been issued to construct about 52 km long 4 lane from Siwan to Mashrakh on Ram Janaki Marg NH-227A. Sources told. The cost of its construction will be approximately Rs 1027 crore. At the same time, this NH is about 243 km. To build this road, the process of acquiring land is going on in the DPR area of Gopalganj district.

Delhi-Darbhanga NH-105
Jaynagar-Darbhanga Highway-105 is to be constructed at a cost of around Rs 991.88 crore. This national highway will be about 53.13 km long. Of this, about 15 km is in Darbhanga district and the rest in Madhubani district. The construction of this national highway will provide ease of transportation to the people of Darbhanga, Madhubani and surrounding districts. You will also get relief from vehicle jam. Besides, access to Darbhanga airport will also be easy.
NHC-80 is to be widened and repaired over a length of about 50.857 km from Munger to Sultanganj. Bhagalpur district has started this. Now the construction process will start in about 19.165 km long Munger district. The width of this road will be seven meters. With the construction of this road, it will take relatively less time for people to reach from Munger to Bhagalpur. Widening the roads will also reduce the accident rate.

NHC-110
The Railway Over Bridge (ROB) will be about 3.63 km long on NH-110 at Ekangarsarai in Nalanda district. Approximately Rs 109 crore 86 lakh 57 thousand 964 will be spent on its construction. With the construction of this ROB, traffic between Bihar Sharif and Jehanabad will become very easy. Besides this, people will also get relief from the daily traffic jam at Ekangarsarai intersection.

Chausa-Buxar Bypass
Permission has been granted to construct 4-lane bypass on Chausa-Buxar bypass NH-319A (Package 2). The construction of this road will cost Rs 1060.16 crore. This will also be a greenfield, i.e. new road. This highway will connect Purvanchal Expressway and Buxar-Varanasi Greenfield Expressway. After the construction of this road, there will be a huge amount of trade in this area. This will lead to growth in this sector. Besides, it will also be easy for the people traveling to Banaras.

Awaiting approval for the new 6 lane bridge under construction in front of JP Setu.
The Central Road Transport and Highways Department has approved the new 6 -lane bridge built opposite JP Setu on river Ganga. A 4 and a half km long cable road bridge will be built at a cost of Rs 3,000 crore. This will facilitate traffic between North Bihar and South Bihar.
