Like Value Added Tax, Millennium City Gurugram also occupies the first place in Haryana in Goods and Service Tax i.e. GST collection. Gurugram alone has more than 40 percent share in the state's GST collection. In the financial year 2023, Haryana's GST has become Rs 10035 crore.

The share of Gurugram in this is more than 4500 crores. Most of the GST is coming from telecom, real estate and industry. In fact, in Gurugram inter state business is more than intra state and these are the reasons. That Gurugram Integrated GST Collection is 20% above average.

ICAI's North India President Naveen Garg explained that Gurugram has so many big corporates because of advanced infrastructure and better industrial policies. Therefore, in terms of GST collection, Gurugram's collection is more than the total collection of Punjab.

Naveen Garg said that GST has brought a lot of relief to the entrepreneurs and traders. Many problems have been solved by having one tax. So there has also been an increase in transparency in work. He told that the biggest shortcoming of GST tribunal is coming to the fore. Due to which the cases of GST dispute are pending. Although CM Manohar Lal had talked about setting up a GST tribunal, but it has not materialized yet.
