In the recent meeting of Haryana's High Power Purchase Committee (HPCC), Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar gave permission to include 375 electric buses in the roadways. Apart from this, crores of rupees have been given to the departments to purchase goods as per requirement. Apart from this, Haryana Roadways has adopted new buses.

State Transport Minister Moolchand Sharma said that electric buses will start running from the new year. The purchase of 375 buses will be completed soon. Apart from this, hundred buses will be procured for Faridabad and Gurugram. The demand has been sent to the Central Government. He said that the operators of electric buses in Panipat and Yamunanagar districts will be given permission first.
