Haryana Roadways Gives Big Relief To Passengers, Now AC Buses Will Fly To Chandigarh

 

Kurukshetra News :- Big news has come from Haryana Roadways for the travelers coming to Kurukshetra district, famous as the religious city of Haryana and going from Kurukshetra to Chandigarh, Delhi and Hisar. As you know. There are ancient religious places in Kurukshetra. Tourists come from far and wide to see them. The Roadways Department has started operating AC buses for the passengers coming here.

Demand was being made by passengers for a long time

On Thursday, MLA Subhash Sudha flagged off AC buses from Kurukshetra to Chandigarh, Delhi and Hisar. For a long time, passengers were demanding operation of buses on these routes. On the demand of passengers, the department has started running one bus each via Delhi via Karnal, Chandigarh via Pipli, Hisar via Kaithal. All these buses will run daily from Thanesar Bus Stand. Apart from this, 7 new buses will soon be included in the Roadways bus fleet.

MLA Subhash Sudha, while thanking CM Manohar Lal Khattar, said that due to Kurukshetra being a religious city, hundreds of tourists come here every day. In these AC buses, passengers will be charged Rs 1.52 per km. Whereas in ordinary buses the fare will be charged at the rate of Re 1 and 5 paise per km and in local buses the fare will be charged at the rate of Re 1 per km. AC buses are going to be very convenient for passengers traveling on long routes.

Operation of remaining buses will also start soon

Giving information, General Manager Sukhdev Singh said that 10 AC buses will be run from Kurukshetra district, out of which 3 buses have been started by the Haryana State Transport Department. Operation of the remaining 7 AC buses will also be started soon. These AC buses cost Rs 53 lakh. There are 52 seats in these buses. The operation of these buses has brought a lot of relief to the passengers.
