Haryana Weather: Haryana Started Freezing Due To Severe Cold, Meteorological Department issued Red Alert in These 8 Cities

 

Haryana Weather: Cold continues to wreak havoc in Haryana as well as entire North India. The entire North India is shivering due to cold wave and severe cold. The minimum temperature in Haryana had reached zero on Friday. The lowest temperature so far in the season was recorded at 0.4 degrees Celsius in Balsamand of Hisar and one degree Celsius in Mahendragarh. The minimum temperature remained between 0.4 to 5.5 degrees in all the districts of the state. Cold has greatly affected normal life.

Red alert issued

Also, fog has returned to most of the cities of the state. Very dense fog was recorded in many cities yesterday. Due to this, visibility in Hisar, Bhiwani and Sirsa was less than 50 meters. Eight districts were in the grip of 'severe cold day'. Frost also occurred in Mahendragarh, Hisar and Rewari. In the morning, crops were seen frozen in snow. Cold winds kept blowing the whole day. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has declared Red Alert of dense fog and severe cold day in eight cities for Saturday.

There will be severe cold in the next four-five days

These include Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Mewat and Palwal cities. Orange alert has been issued for the remaining cities. Expert Dr. Chandramohan said that there are chances of severe cold for the next 4-5 days. There will be no change in the minimum temperature for the next four days. There is a possibility of some relief after this. An increase in maximum temperature has been observed in some cities of Haryana.

Slight increase in day temperature

The maximum temperature has been recorded at 21.5 degrees in Faridabad, 21 degrees in Rewari and 18 degrees in Gurugram. Due to increase in temperature, people have got some relief from cold during the day. The Meteorological Department has said that a western disturbance is becoming active since Saturday. But these are also weak. No significant impact will be seen on the plains. Due to this, there may be snowfall in the high hills of Himachal, Uttarakhand and Kashmir. There is no possibility of rain in Haryana.
