It is likely to cross South Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu coasts between Chennai and Machilipatnam around the evening of 4 December.

Orange alert issued (Cyclone Michaung Update)

Rain is expected in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu on December 3. Heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur at some places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh on December 4. And there may be very heavy rain at some places. There may also be heavy rain in Rayalaseema, Telangana and South Odisha on December 4.
