Weather: A Western Disturbance is over northern Pakistan and 3.1 km above mean sea level. The trough in westerly winds is 5.8 km above mean sea level along its axis. Which is running north of 30° north latitude along with 70° east longitude.

An induced cyclonic circulation is over southwest Rajasthan and adjoining Pakistan.

A trough is extending from western Vidarbha to northern Tamil Nadu.

The cyclonic circulation lies over low levels in and around South Odisha.

A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region from the night of March 10. And another western disturbance may affect northwest India from the night of March 12.

Weather disturbances across the country during the last 24 hours

During the last 24 hours, light rain and snowfall occurred in Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Jammu and Kashmir.

Scattered rain occurred in North Odisha.

Light rain occurred at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal and South Kerala.
