IAS Transfer : Administrative Reshuffle, Then Transfer of 9 IAS Officers, Order issued By General Administration Department, See List
IAS Transfer 2023 : Once again a major administrative surgery has been done by the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar. Many Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been transferred together late on Tuesday night. Collectors of many districts have also been shifted from here to there. In this, the District Magistrates of Jamui, Shivhar, Munger, Sasaram, Kishanganj and Aurangabad were changed. Apart from this, two other IAS officers have also been given new responsibilities. The General Administration Department of the Government of Bihar has issued a notification to this effect.
Know which IAS officers were transferred
According to the notification, 2010 batch IAS officer Rakesh Kumar has been transferred from the post of Joint Secretary in the Chief Minister's Secretariat and has been appointed District Magistrate and District Magistrate of Jamui till further orders. Jamui DM Avnish Kumar Singh has been made DM of Munger. Avnish Kumar Singh is a 2010 batch IAS officer.
2011 batch IAS Naveen Kumar has been transferred from the post of Munger Collector and District Magistrate and posted as District Magistrate, Rohtas, Sasaram. He has also been appointed the District Magistrate there. He will remain in additional charge of Settlement Officer of Rohtas till further orders.
Rohtas DM Dharmendra Kumar has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary in the Urban Development and Housing Department.
Bihar's Secondary Education Director Pankaj Kumar has been made the DM of Sheohar.
After Pankaj Kumar stepped down from the post of Director of Secondary Education, Mithilesh Mishra, Director of Mid-Day Meal in the Education Department, has been made in-charge. He is an IAS officer of 2010 batch. Under Section 20 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2, 1974), he has also been appointed District Magistrate of Sheohar district.
2012 batch IAS Shrikant Shastri has been transferred from the post of Kishanganj Collector and District Magistrate and posted as District Magistrate, Aurangabad. He has also been appointed the District Magistrate there. He will also hold the additional charge of Settlement Officer of Aurangabad till further orders.
2015 batch IAS Suharsh Bhagat, posted as Aurangabad Collector, has been posted as Additional Executive Director of State Health Committee in Patna.

Suharsh Bhagat, District Magistrate of Aurangabad and son-in-law of former Union Minister RCP Singh, has been made Additional Executive Director in the State Health Committee. Suharsh Bhagat was earlier the District Magistrate of Aurangabad.
Bihar Administrative Service officer Manoj Kumar, resident of Katihar district, has been appointed as Additional Secretary (Government) to Transport Minister Sheela Kumari Mandal. Till now he was playing the role of Additional District Magistrate cum Additional Collector of Aurangabad.
Tushar Singla, posted as Joint Secretary in the Finance Department, will now be the new DM of Kishanganj. Tushar Singla, who is a 2015 batch IAS officer. He has been transferred from the post of Joint Secretary, Finance Department and appointed Kishanganj District Collector and District Magistrate. Besides, he will be in additional charge of the settlement officer there.
