Monsoon has become active again across the country. The Meteorological Department has issued heavy rain and storm alert in many states for 1 September 2026. Especially in hilly areas, heavy rain and flood-like situation may occur. Meanwhile, there will be rain in UP and Bihar today. While in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, light rain is likely at many places due to active monsoon.

Weather in Haryana and Punjab Today

Light to moderate rain may occur in more than 10 districts of Haryana today, while weather will change in many areas of Punjab. Due to active monsoon, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain for three days. However, a slight change is being seen in the weather and people have started feeling a little cold.

Delhi Weather

The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain and storm in Delhi between 1 to 3 September. Winds of about 40 KM per hour can blow here today, due to which the temperature is estimated to remain between 27 to 34 degrees. At the same time, traffic jam situation may also remain due to light rain in many areas.

Rain and Storm in UP

There is a possibility of rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh due to monsoon. There is a warning of rain and thunderstorm in many districts of UP including Ghaziabad, Meerut, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Moradabad, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Fatehpur, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Sonbhadra, Banda, Pratapgarh, Mirzapur, Bareilly, Kanpur, Hardoi, Pilibhit, Jaunpur, Ayodhya, Ghazipur, Ballia, Deoria, Gonda, Azamgarh and Hamirpur.

Weather in Bihar and Jharkhand

There will be rain in many districts of Bihar including Gaya, Patna, Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj, Champaran, Buxar, Bhojpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Saharsa, Supaul, Purnia, Araria, Kishanganj, Bhagalpur, Munger and Begusarai. At the same time, there is also an alert of strong wind and rain in Jharkhand's Bokaro, Seraikela, Palamu, Gumla, Dhanbad, Simdega, Ramgarh, Jamshedpur, Chatra, Deoghar, Hazaribagh and Dumka.

Rain can be seen in Khandwa, Seoni, Khargone, Sidhi, Umaria, Shahdol, Hoshangabad, Dhar, Gwalior, Katni, Ashoknagar, Ujjain, Agar Malwa, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Narsinghpur, Bhopal, Indore, Datia, Shivpuri and Mandla.
