Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini gave a major development boost to Nuh district on Saturday by inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for 22 development projects worth ₹174.66 crore. These projects encompass significant development works aimed at strengthening healthcare services and expanding facilities for sports, education, and other public amenities. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for 17 projects and inaugurated 5 projects.

The largest among these is the construction of a 100-bed District General Hospital (DCH) at the old CHC complex in Nuh, costing ₹155.49 crore, for which the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone. Additionally, under various Health Department projects, Sub-Health Centre (SHC) buildings will be constructed at a cost of ₹60 lakh in Adbar village, ₹79 lakh in Chharoda village, ₹64 lakh in Kankar Khedi (Kherli Nuh) village, ₹69 lakh in Nai village, ₹61 lakh in Siroli village, and ₹63 lakh in Indri village. Block Public Health Unit (BPHU) buildings will also be constructed in Padheni village (costing ₹50 lakh) and Pingawan (costing ₹62 lakh).

Dignitaries present on the occasion included Development and Panchayats Minister Krishan Lal Panwar, Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana, Sohna MLA Tejpal Tanwar, Hathin MLA Mohammad Israil, Nuh MLA Aftab Ahmed, and Ferozepur-Jhirka MLA Maman Khan.

*Sports and Education Infrastructure to be Strengthened*

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stones for various projects under the Mewat Development Agency. These include the construction of a public park in Nuh (costing ₹2.45 crore), the renovation of a sports stadium in Pingawan (costing ₹1.80 crore), and the establishment of 100 model Anganwadi centres (costing ₹1.47 crore). Similarly, projects to be undertaken include the construction of girls' toilets in 33 government schools in Nuh block at a cost of ₹1 crore, the construction of a sub-divisional level library in Hathin block at a cost of ₹39 lakh, the installation of hybrid solar power plants in 14 government schools in Hathin block at a cost of ₹1 crore, and the development of sports grounds in 10 government schools in Hathin block at a cost of ₹50 lakh.

Additionally, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the construction of 'Alvi Bhavan' in village Lahbas (Pinghwan block) at a cost of ₹86 lakh.

*Inauguration of BPHU and TB Office Buildings*

The Chief Minister also inaugurated two significant projects of the Health Department. These include the Block Public Health Unit (BPHU) building constructed at the Punhana CHC complex at a cost of ₹50 lakh and the TB office building constructed at the Mandikhera Civil Hospital complex at a cost of ₹1.54 crore.

Furthermore, under the Mewat Development Agency, the Chief Minister inaugurated renovated sports stadiums in villages Shahpur-Nangli (Nuh) and Kameda (Ferozepur Jhirka)—built at a cost of ₹85 lakh—and new sports facilities in 16 government schools across Nuh district, costing ₹80 lakh. The Chief Minister also distributed scholarship funds amounting to ₹92 lakh. This amount was awarded to students under the 'Chief Minister Mewat Poor Meritorious Student Scholarship Scheme' and the 'Chief Minister Mewat Student Talent Honour Scheme'.

The Chief Minister stated that the state government aims to provide better amenities to the people by continuously expanding infrastructure—including health, education, and sports facilities—in Nuh district. He remarked that these development projects would not only strengthen health services but also create improved educational and sports facilities for students and the youth. The government is committed to ensuring the equitable development of all regions of the state.
