Land is Being Taken From 32 Villages For This UP Ring Road, Land Acquisition is Stuck in 19 Villages
UP New Ring Road: The construction of the proposed Ring Road in Bareilly is stalled due to the slow pace of land acquisition. Land was to be acquired from a total of 22 villages, but in two and a half years, the details of land acquisition could be prepared from only three villages. The consolidation process is being hampered in the remaining 19 villages. So far, it has provided information about land only in Itauwa, Sukhdevpur, Rohta Ekhatamali and Sahariya villages.
NHAI officials said that as soon as the green signal is received from the Lucknow headquarters, compensation will be paid to the farmers of these three villages in about a month. Whereas in other villages the process with the Special Land Commissioner is going on at a slow pace.

A proposal to build a four-lane Outer Ring Road at a cost of approximately Rs 1,150 crore was prepared in 2021. The ring road will be completed by constructing a 13 km stretch from Chaubari Maskil to Rajau Paraspur and a 19.2 km stretch from Dhantia. To Chaubari Maskil.
