The coldest temperature in Delhi on Wednesday was 19.7 degrees in Mungeshpur. The temperature there in Palam was 20 degrees. The lowest temperature in Lodhi Road was 5.9 degrees. The Meteorological Department said that there may be light rain in some parts of Delhi on Friday. There will be light fog in the morning for the next four days.

The city's air quality index improved to 270 on Wednesday, from 295 a day earlier, but it is still in the poor category. AQI ranging from zero to five hundred is considered good, 51 to 100 satisfactory, 101 to 200 moderate, 201 to 300 poor, 301 to 400 very poor and 401 to 500 severe.
