MP Weather Update Today: 90 percent part of monsoon has departed from Madhya Pradesh. And today on Sunday, the south-west monsoon will completely disappear from Jabalpur, Shahdol and Rewa divisions of eastern MP. With this the rainy season has also stopped. Today on October 8, the weather is expected to be clear and dry. But after 2 days, a new western disturbance is becoming active, due to which there may be clouds at some places in the state. And it may also drizzle. Here, after October 15, the cold effect will start becoming visible, the night temperature will drop, after this, the day temperature will also drop from the month of November.

Weather will change from Monday

According to MP Meteorological Department, from Monday, October 10, western disturbance will affect North India, due to which the direction of the winds will change. Due to moisture coming in during this period, there may be cloud cover at some places in the state. And there may be sporadic drizzle at some places in the districts of the division including Jabalpur. During this period, there is a possibility of drop in day temperature and increase in night temperature. In the coming days, the night temperature in the surrounding districts including Ujjain, Bhopal, Indore may increase by 2 to 3 degrees. But after October 15, the night temperature can reach 10 degrees in many cities including Pachmarhi, Malanjkhand, Naugaon. This year, severe cold is expected in December and January.

New western disturbance is becoming active

According to MP Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry as no monsoon system is active at present. In the coming days, due to western wind direction in western Madhya Pradesh, minimum temperature will increase by one to two degrees. After the western disturbance passes, the temperature will start falling from October 11. After October 15, the night temperature is expected to drop rapidly. The night temperature in Gwalior will be 16 to 17 degrees Celsius, while the day temperature can also reach around 34 degrees Celsius, due to which one will feel pinkish cold at night.

Where and how much rain has fallen so far?

MP has received an average of 37.22 inches of rainfall from June 1 to October 1. In this, 4% less water has fallen in the eastern part and 3% more water has fallen in the western part. Narsinghpur has received the highest rainfall of 51.75 inches. Bhind received 141% rainfall. Apart from this, rainfall in Jabalpur, Sehore, Raisen, Alirajpur, Burhanpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Dindori, Niwari, Dewas, Ratlam, Narmadapuram, Harda, Betul and Anuppur was 40 inches or It has been more than this.

The least rainfall was 23.62 inches in Satna and 23.81 inches in Ashoknagar, while Rewa-Sidhi also received less rainfall. Here, Guna, Ashoknagar, Damoh, Satna, Rewa and Sidhi are in the red zone.
