New Road Will Be Built Along Elevated Railway Track in Haryana
Haryana Elevated Railway Track Road: A major step has been taken to promote infrastructure development and connectivity in Haryana. Chief Minister Manohar Lal has given administrative permission of Rs 21.27 crore for the construction of a new road with elevated railway track in Rohtak district at a cost of Rs 315 crore. This mega project of 3790 meters long and 5.5 meters wide will be completed in nine months and will provide free connectivity to the residents of Rohtak.
More than 50 thousand people will get benefits
More than 50 thousand people will benefit from the new road built from Chiniot Colony to Sector-6 in Rohtak. It will unite several colonies of Gandhi Camp, Jhang Colony, Mansarovar Colony, Subhash Nagar, Kishanpura, Model Town, Laxmi Nagar, Kabir Colony, Vishal Nagar, Sector-5 and Sector-6.

People got significant relief
The 3.8 km long elevated track built in Rohtak was the first in India. The Railway Ministry spent Rs 315 crore on its construction, of which the state contributed Rs 225 crore. Describing the strategic importance of the project, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that it will play an important role in enhancing the economic growth, connectivity and overall quality of life of the people of Rohtak district.
