About 17 km Bharauli-Buxar (BIHAR) will be connected by one Ballia-Chhapra and another link express. UPEDA will oversee this work. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has set a time limit of 18 months as the contracts were signed with the four companies on June 10. But NHAI is on two years. Due to the rain, companies have started building up their resources and offices. The work is expected to start next month. NHAI Azamgarh project manager SP Pathak said that the work will start soon.

The fourth phase tender has been awarded to M/s BCPL-PRL. The expressway work is expected to start from June. And is expected to be completed in two years. Companies have started ordering goods. The work will be done faster after the rain. The Green Field Expressway will run from Hridaypur to Jangpur area of Varanasi foreland. The expressway will bifurcate on the other side from Karimuddinpur railway station.
