The speed of trains will increase as the Rs 564 crore Ballia-Ghazipur Railway Doubling Project is dedicated to the nation. Direct connectivity with big cities will become even easier. Additionally, 1.53 km road between Jaffrabad Junction and Jaunpur City station will be constructed at a cost of Rs 80 crore. Long bypass card line, which connects Jaunpur Junction to Jaunpur City station. With the implementation of the new system, the movement of trains will be flexible and train operation will become simpler.

Connectivity will increase due to gauge conversion
Total change of Aman gauge i.e. 34.37 km. The distance will be changed to broad gauge and the speed of trains will be increased. Traffic will increase due to increased connectivity on many routes. The gauge conversion will electrify the railway, which will save fuel and reduce carbon emissions.

10,000th locomotive to be dedicated to the nation
The 10,000th locomotive manufactured at BLW will also be dedicated to the nation. Banaras Locomotive Works, since 1956, is a multi-gauge, multi-traction and multi-product manufacturing unit of the Indian Railways. Which has a great heritage in locomotive manufacturing. BLW takes Railways to the top heights by producing locomotives to meet the growing transportation needs of the country.
The achievement of 10,000th locomotive of Indian Railways underlines manufacturing excellence. Which is in line with the Self-reliant India initiative. And opens avenues for international exports. Locomotives manufactured here are in operation in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Tanzania, Sudan, Senegal, Mali, Malaysia, Vietnam, Angola and Mozambique.

34.37 km Indara-Dohrighat (gauge conversion) route from meter gauge to broad gauge.
Total cost of gauge conversion is Rs 213 crore.
Doubling of Ballia-Ghazipur railway section worth Rs 564 crore.
Distance of Ballia-Ghazipur railway section is 065 km.
Rail line between Zafarabad Junction to Jaunpur City for Rs 80 crore.
