On December 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two new Amrit Bharat Express trains on behalf of Indian Railways. The first train ran between Darbhanga to Ayodhya and Anand Vihar Terminal. The second train ran between Malda Town and Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru). After the successful launch of these 2 trains by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, the Central Government has approved 50 more Amrit Bharat trains.
