Railway News: Due to construction work on the Jaipur-Alwar route, these 11 trains including Vande Bharat will be diverted on May 9-10.
Jaipur Railway News: Jaipur. Due to ongoing Road Under Bridge (RUB) launching work on the Jaipur-Rewari section of the North Western Railway's Jaipur Division, the routes of several key train services have been temporarily diverted. The railway administration is currently executing RUB launching operations at Level Crossing Gate No. 95 (between Khairthal and Padisal stations) and Level Crossing Gate No. 106 (between Padisal and Alwar stations). Consequently, the operation of several trains will be affected on May 9 and 10, 2026.
According to Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, trains will be operated via alternative routes to ensure passenger safety and to expedite the completion of the construction work. The railway administration has appealed to passengers to verify the status of their trains before commencing their journeys.
The most significant changes involve long-distance trains such as the Bhuj-Bareilly Express, Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat, and Barmer-Jammu Tawi Express. Train No. 14322, the Bhuj-Bareilly Express, will run via the Phulera-Ringas-Rewari route on May 9, instead of its regular Phulera-Jaipur-Alwar-Rewari route. During this diversion, the train will make additional halts at Ringas, Neem-ka-Thana, Narnaul, and Ateli stations.
Similarly, Train No. 26481, the Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express, will operate via the Jaipur-Ringas-Rewari route on May 10. Meanwhile, the Barmer-Jammu Tawi Express and the Jammu Tawi-Barmer Express will be diverted via the Degana-Ratangarh-Loharu-Rewari route. These trains will make scheduled halts at Ratangarh, Churu, Sadulpur, and Loharu stations.
Trains such as the Bareilly-Bhuj Express, Dehradun-Okha Express, Porbandar-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express, and Delhi-Sabarmati Express will also be operated via the Rewari-Ringas-Phulera route. Additionally, the Delhi Cantt-Jodhpur Vande Bharat Express will also run on a diverted route. According to the list released by the Railways, the Jaisalmer-Kathgodam Express will also be operated via the Jodhpur-Degana-Ratangarh-Loharu-Rewari route. During this period, the train will make stops at Merta Road, Degana, Ratangarh, Churu, Sadulpur, and Loharu stations. Similarly, the Chandigarh-Udaipur City Express will also be operated via a diverted route.
Railway officials state that once the construction work on the Road Under Bridge (RUB) is completed, train operations on this section will become even safer and smoother. However, passengers may face some inconvenience in the interim. The Railways has advised passengers to stay updated on the latest train information through the railway helpline, station inquiry systems, or the official app.
