Roadways Bus: Good News For Passengers Traveling in UP Bus, They Will Be Able To Travel at Low Fares

 

Roadways Bus: For your information, UP Roadways has reduced the fares of AC buses from Saturday. The price of tickets has decreased by 10%. Now officials are planning to reduce the fares of ordinary buses. This will decrease by 7%. The new rates are expected to come into effect from January.

In February 2023, the Transport Corporation Administration announced an increase in fares. However, when the corporation analyzed the number of passengers and ticket revenue, the results were different. Passenger numbers, for example, did not increase as anticipated. Therefore the fare of Rajdhani buses was 10% more than that of normal buses. Due to lack of passengers, the corporation administration had to reduce the fare.

Officials said that the number of passengers has increased due to 10% reduction in fares in Rajdhani buses. The corporation administration decided to reduce the fares of Janrath, Shatabdi and Volvo buses from Saturday. For example, after bus fares become cheaper, the authorities are planning to reduce the fares of ordinary buses. Fares for ordinary buses are expected to reduce by 7% in the first week of January.

Fares for regular buses will also reduce by 7%

The fares of roadways AC buses were reduced by 10% from Saturday. Fares for ordinary buses will also be reduced by 7%. New rates may come into effect from January. In February this year, the Transport Corporation had increased the bus fares as they had incurred losses. But the number of passengers did not increase as expected. Rajdhani bus fares, which were 10% more than normal, were therefore reduced. The fares of AC buses were also reduced in the same manner.
