Almost everyone has the normal documents, but to light up the main slum and irregular colony, the main document that has to be given is the certificate of ownership of the property. But now residents of slums and irregular colonies will only have to apply to get electricity connection, no other document will be asked from them.

Electricity connection will be available in 1 month

For information, let us tell you that people living in temporary colonies and slums are not required to give certificate of land ownership. Rather, for electricity connection they will have to give an affidavit to the electricity corporation. In which it will be written in clear words that the consumer is taking electricity connection. They are temporary. And he has no ownership rights on it. Not only this, as soon as you apply for electricity connection, you will get a new electricity connection within 1 month.

Helpline number will be issued for information related to electricity meter

While ordering the officials, CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that they should start helpline number and call center to end the problems related to electricity connection of the citizens of the state. So that the citizen can easily get any information related to electricity connection and whenever the consumer applies, a message will be sent to his mobile regarding when he will get the electricity connection.
