The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature in Delhi may reach 5 degrees in the coming days. The minimum temperature in Delhi has reached 6.6 degrees Celsius in the last few days.

Heavy cold in Delhi next week

While talking to, Meteorological Department scientist Rajesh Kumar said that Delhi is currently experiencing chill due to icy winds. The situation in Delhi will remain normal for the next three days. But after December 25, the temperature of Delhi will fall further as the cold will increase further in the city. After December 25, it will be very cold in the morning and evening for the next few days, but there will be some relief in the afternoon.

Chilliness will also increase in these states

The temperature will also reduce in states like UP-Bihar in the coming days. Nevertheless, even strong sunlight is neutralized by strong winds in these states. In the last few days, night temperatures have fallen significantly in many cities of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The weather will remain dry in both these states till December 23. At the same time, light rain is expected in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas till December 31.

Arrangements of beds and blankets are being made for the people shivering from the cold. At present there are about 200 night shelters in Delhi. Where about 18 thousand people have been kept. Now officials are visiting these night shelters and checking. And giving blankets and bedding when needed.
