Yamuna's Water Level in Delhi Crosses Danger Mark, Possibility of Flood Again in Low-Lying Areas
Yamuna Water Level: After heavy rains in the national capital Delhi, the situation of water logging is being seen in many places. Along with this, the water level of Yamuna river in Delhi has increased again. The water level in Yamuna river has reached above the danger mark of 205.33 metres. The water level in the Yamuna river was recorded at 205.39 meters at the old railway bridge tonight at 10 pm.

Delhi faced severe flooding in mid-July due to heavy rainfall in the capital and the mountains. On July 13, the Yamuna river rose to a record 208.66 metres, breaking previous records as well. Compared to the past several years, flood water had entered the city more deeply. More than 27000 people were evacuated from the flood affected areas. In terms of property, business and earnings, there has been a loss of up to crores of rupees.
