Aditya-L1 Mission : Aditya-L1 Went Towards The Sun, First Picture Will Come in Month of February

 

Yuva Patrkaar : After the success of Aditya-L1 Mission in reaching the Moon, now India's flight has started towards reaching Surya Dada. With this, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has launched its first Sun Mission to reveal the secrets of the Sun to the world.

Will cover distance of 15 lakh kilometers in 4 months

Let us tell you, today India's first Sun mission has started from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Where this spacecraft Aditya, which has set out to conquer the Sun, will take about 4 months to reach the Sun. Here the vehicle has to cover a distance of about 15 lakh kilometers from the earth.

It will take time for the photo of the Sun to reach the people here, Aditya L-1's first payload Visible Emission Line Coronagraph (VELC) will reach the targeted orbit and send more than a thousand pictures daily, which will prove helpful in the study.

1440 pictures will be released in 24 hours

Let us tell you, Dr. Muthu Priyal, Project Scientist of Aditya L1 and Operations Manager of VELC, said in this regard, “One picture will be sent every minute by the Tasvir channel, that is, about 1,440 pictures will be revealed in 24 hours. " Regarding which it was said that the first picture may come in February.

Here, the 190 kg VELC payload will send an image every minute for the next five years. The VELC payload, on the other hand, is the largest and most technically challenging payload on Aditya-L1.

Let us tell you, the name of the spacecraft that went for the first mission to the Sun is Aditya-L1 Mission. Which is the first solar mission. Through this mission, information about many mysteries and activities related to the Sun will be revealed.

This mission will study factors like the Sun's outer layer corona, coronal mass ejections (powerful explosions in the Sun), pre-flare and flare activities and their characteristics, origin of solar storms etc.
