DA Hike: People are busy preparing for Christmas and New Year. Because only a few days are left for the year 2023 to end. This is the reason. That the Meghalaya govt has given its employees an additional reason to celebrate this festival. Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Wednesday announced a 3% increase in dearness allowance and early payment of December salary.

The Chief Minister also shared the office memorandum of the Finance Department, which stated. That the Governor has decided to reduce the existing 36% inflation rate for employees and pensioners to 39% from July 1.
