Mumbai - Veteran actor Pankaj Tripathi's mother Smt. Hemwanti Devi passed away on Saturday at her home in Belsand, Gopalganj, Bihar. She was 89 years old and had been ill for a few months.

Pankaj's mother was cremated on Saturday in Belsand in the presence of close relatives. The family has requested everyone to respect her privacy and allow her to mourn in peace during this difficult time.

Actor's father passes away

Earlier, the actor's father Pandit Banaras Tripathi passed away on August 21, 2023 in his ancestral village. At that time, Pankaj Tripathi was promoting 'OMG 2' in Mumbai and as soon as he received this news, he immediately went to Bihar for the funeral.
