Uttarakhand School Holiday 2024 : After the release of the annual calendar of holidays 2024 by the Uttarakhand government, now the official holiday calendar 2024 for the secondary schools of Uttarakhand has been released. In this, Director of Secondary Education Seema Jaunsari has declared summer and winter holidays along with other holidays for secondary schools.
Know when there will be holidays in 2024?
Under the order issued, summer vacation will be long vacation in schools located at altitude 5000 feet or less and winter vacation will be long vacation in schools located at altitude more than 5000 feet. In the summer season, there will be a holiday from 27 May to 30 June 2024 i.e. 35 days. In the winter season there will be a holiday from 01 January 2024 to 13 January 2024 i.e. 13 days. In schools with long winter holidays, there will be 11 days holiday in the summer season from 20 June to 30 June 2024. Will remain. There will be 37 days holiday in winter season from 26 December to 31 January 2025.
Apart from this, schools will remain closed for 42 days on the occasion of different festivals. The order states. That the District Magistrate can re-specify the dates of festival holidays if necessary. The same headmasters have been asked to necessarily give information about declaring discretionary holidays (2024 School Holidays Calendar Uttarakhand) to the concerned Block Education Officer.
