School Holiday News : With the beginning of the month of October, students are going to get important benefits this month. Actually, there are a lot of holidays in schools this month. Schools will be closed for several days from Gandhi Jayanti to Navratri.
Holidays have been declared on different days for festivals in different states. Along with this, students will also get the benefit of five Sundays this month. Schools will remain closed due to weekly holidays. From Gandhi Jayanti to Navratri and Dussehra are also in this month. In such a situation, there will be holidays in schools for several days. Many schools remain closed on Saturdays also. The students will benefit from it.

Know the list of holidays
- 1st October Sunday 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti
- 8 October second Sunday
- 14 October, second Sunday, declared holiday in some schools
- While 15th October is the third Sunday
- There will be a school holiday on the fourth Sunday on 22nd October.
- Holiday has been declared on 24th October on Dussehra and Durga Visarjan.
- In case of Sharad Purnima and fourth Saturday on 28th October, schools will be closed.

Holidays on second and fourth Saturday
Many state governments give holidays to children on second and fourth Saturday. In such a situation, due to October 14 being the second Saturday and October 15 being the third Sunday, students will get the benefit of two consecutive days of holiday. Along with this, if October 28 also falls on Saturday, schools will remain closed on October 28 and 29.

MP : Government schools will remain open on Gandhi Jayanti
Here in Madhya Pradesh, there will be no holiday declared in government schools on Gandhi Jayanti. There will be no holidays for government schools run under the Madhya Pradesh School Education Department. The circular has been issued by the Commissioner, DPE.
On the occasion of October 2, a letter was issued by the Ministry of Education and Literacy Department of the Government of India regarding the Swachh Bharat Diwas program in all the schools of the state. In which guidelines were given for the students.
- Literacy oath will be taken by students and teachers.
- Students' hostels and other educational institutions will be made garbage free with the help of teachers.
- Saplings will be planted in schools and other educational institutions on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
- Poems, debates, slogans etc. will be written
- Also, branding of garbage boxes etc. will be done.

In such a situation, a letter has been issued to all the District Education Officers and District Project Coordinators about the programs to be organized in all the schools on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October. An explanation has been given for this. Photos, videos and reports of the same program will also have to be uploaded on the online link provided by the Union Ministry of Education.
