Arrangements regarding biometric attendance have been made in this way. That teachers and students will be able to mark attendance in the school premises only. This can put a stop to the arbitrariness of teachers. Till now the attendance details were based on paper process, which is now being abolished.
If a teacher is late by 15 minutes, his entire day's salary will be deducted.
Tablets will also be provided in all schools for digital attendance. At the same time, it has also been said. That teachers will have to do duty in the school regularly. According to the new rule, if teachers are late by more than 15 minutes, their entire day's salary will be deducted.
Teachers are protesting against the new rule
A large number of parents gathered in the voting campaign of Uttar Pradesh Primary Teachers Association and have demanded withdrawal of this system. The vote collection campaign will continue for the next two days and then the strategy of the movement will be prepared on its basis. However, the Director General of School Education has also warned of taking action against teachers who do not follow the rules.
