YuvaPatrkaar : Former Deputy CM of Rajasthan and veteran Congress leader Sachin Pilot has divorced his wife Sara Pilot. This has been disclosed today in the affidavit given by the pilot along with the nomination papers. However, it has not been revealed as to when the divorce took place between the two. But this is the first time it has come to light publicly that the two have separated. In his affidavit, the pilot has written Talashuda in front of his wife's name. Sachin and Sara have two children. Sachin has both the children. This has also been disclosed in the affidavit. Sachin Pilot has written the names of his sons - Aran Pilot and Vihaan Pilot in the dependent column. However, Sachin Pilot's staff has expressed ignorance on the news. Pilot's staff say that to their knowledge this is not the case.
According to the information, Sachin Pilot and Sara got married about 19 years ago on January 15, 2004. Sara is the daughter of former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and senior National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah. It is said that Abdullah was against this marriage, while the pilot's family was also unhappy with this relationship. Sachin was successful in convincing his family for this relationship, but Sara could not do so. Therefore Farooq Abdullah did not attend this marriage. Sara is educated in London. Both of them were married at the Delhi residence of the then Dausa MP and Sachin's mother Rama Pilot.
