During this period his strike rate was 136.51. Rohit also completed 300 sixes in ODIs during his innings. He became the third batsman to do so after former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi and former West Indies opener Chris Gayle.

Shreyas hits the winning four

After the dismissal of Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer along with KL Rahul finished the match. Both the batsmen made an unbeaten 36-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Iyer completed his half-century by hitting a four and ended the match. He remained unbeaten after scoring 53 runs on 62 balls. Iyer hit three fours and two sixes. KL Rahul remained unbeaten after scoring 19 runs on 29 balls. Two fours came off his bat.

Six batsmen of Pakistan could not touch double figures

Earlier, captain Babar Azam scored the highest score of 50 runs for Pakistan. Mohammad Rizwan, who had scored a century in the last match, missed the half-century this time. He returned to the pavilion on 49 runs. Imam ul Haq scored 36, Abdullah Shafiq scored 20 and Hasan Ali scored 12 runs. Apart from these, six batsmen could not touch double figures.
