Mahindra XUV 700 is Going To Be Launched With New Design and Features, Let's Know The Complete Details

 

Yuva Patrkaar, New Delhi : There is a lot of demand for SUV segment cars in the Indian automobile market. And a select few cars are very famous in this segment. One such car is the Mahindra XUV 700, which was launched by the company in August 2021 and has sold over 1 lakh units so far. It has become the fastest selling SUV from Mahindra. Now to further increase its sales, the company will add five new variants to the XUV700 model lineup. These will include a mid-spec variant and three high trim variants. The company may also consider discontinuing the petrol and diesel variants to accommodate these new automatic and AWD variants.

Four of the five new variants of the XUV700 could be launched during the festive season of this year. Along with this, a new variant called AX5 L can be included in the XUV lineup. Which will be able to make its place between the AX7 and AX7 L variants. Apart from this, another variant will be included above the AX7 variant, which can be named AX9 and AX9 L.

Recently Mahindra has spotted the 6-seater version of the XUV700 during testing. This version can be launched to compete with Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus. The 6-seater version will get captain seats for the second row, while no other changes are expected in terms of design, features and powertrain. Currently, this SUV has 2.0 liter turbo petrol and 2.2 liter diesel engine options. This 6-seater version will be based on the top trim and will also get an AWD system with the diesel engine.

Apart from the new variants, there may be some changes in the features of Mahindra XUV 700. However, no official disclosure has been made about it yet. But according to some media reports, it may get powered tailgate, rear LED strip, sliding second row, powered IRVM, ventilated front and rear seats and support for updated connected apps.

The Mahindra XUV700 will give tough competition to the Tata Safari, which is currently powered by a 2.0L turbo diesel engine. Soon the option of 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine will also be included in its facelift version. It will be available in the market with a 6 and 7 seater option.
