The New Yamaha XSR155 Arrives in the Japanese Market; Its Looks Are So Stunning, You'll Fall in Love at First Sight!
Yamaha has launched the XSR155 in the Japanese two-wheeler market. It has been priced at JPY 490,000 (approximately ₹2.97 lakh). The bike is available for sale in three color options, including a new black color scheme and a distinct alloy wheel design. Notably, the variant available in Japan is slightly more powerful than the Indian-spec model.
The black color scheme features premium-looking gold and red graphics on the fuel tank. There are gold pinstripes on both sides of the tank, and the Yamaha badging is set against a red background. This paint finish appears more upscale than the Metallic Black option available on the XSR155 sold in India.
The Japanese variant features newly designed alloy wheels with a bronze finish. These are fitted with block-pattern tires, which lend the bike a more rugged appearance and complement its roadster theme perfectly.
In terms of performance, the Japan-spec XSR155 delivers higher power output but slightly lower torque. Its engine produces 18.7 bhp of power and 14 Nm of torque, whereas the Indian-spec bike's engine generates 18.1 bhp of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. Apart from these changes, the cycle parts remain identical across both the Indian and Japanese variants.
