The Ultimate Combo of Style and Power: Benda Unveils the New Dark Flag 600 V4
Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Benda is gearing up to launch its Dark Flag 600 V4 cruiser in the US market. Details regarding this new cruiser have recently surfaced through newly revealed approval documents. According to the information available, Benda is expected to offer the bike in two variants: a base model and a high-spec version.
The bike draws power from a 598cc liquid-cooled V4 engine, which, according to the approval documents, generates 71 bhp of power and 54 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with a six-speed gearbox, while the high-spec variant will feature an auto-clutch system as standard equipment.
Notably, the Chinese manufacturer had previously equipped its Rock 707 model with a similar auto-clutch system. This system appears to be similar to Honda's E-Clutch technology, wherein electronic actuators handle the engagement and disengagement of the clutch, while still retaining the option for the rider to manually operate the clutch lever. The high-spec variant will also feature electronic air suspension at the rear—a feature that is quite rare within the mid-weight motorcycle segment.
In addition to its powertrain, this V4 cruiser will feature a dual-TFT display setup—with one screen mounted on the handlebar and the other positioned atop the fuel tank. The bike is also expected to come equipped with various riding aids, such as cruise control.
