Under this scheme, treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is given free of cost to poor families. The name of this scheme has been changed to “Ayushman Chirayu Yojana”. Earlier, families with income less than Rs 180000 were included under this scheme, but now this income limit has been increased to Rs 3 lakh.

Last date for annual fee payment extended

Eligible candidates interested in Ayushman Chirayu Yojana could apply till 30 September. Under this scheme, people with income above Rs 1 lakh 8 thousand have to pay Rs 1500 annually. The last date for paying annual fees has been extended to October 15. Which was earlier till 30 September. About 6 lakh 9 thousand are eligible for Viva Ayushman Yojana in the district. Of these, about 1,25,000 people are like this. Those who have not yet made Viva Card.
