The government may increase DA in the month of September. For a long time, the employees who were waiting for the increase in DA, soon this wait of the employees is going to end.

Dearness allowance at the rate of 42% is being given from January 2023.

According to the Zee Business website, the government can increase the dearness allowance of central employees by up to four percent. From January 2023, employees are being given DA at the rate of 42%, which will increase to 46% after 4% increase. Its decision can be taken in the cabinet meeting to be held in the month of September. Under the AICPI index, by June 2023, the dearness allowance has been increased to 46.24 percent. But the government does not count after decimal. According to this, the total dearness allowance will be considered as 46 percent.

DA will be increased by four %

According to the information received on the basis of ACIPC index, this time also the DA of the employees will be increased by 4 percent. However, no official information has come about it yet. If your basic salary is Rs 18000. So your monthly and annual salary will increase by this much.

• Basic salary – Rs 18000 per month
• New DA- Rs 8280 per month (46 percent)
• Current DA- Rs 7560 per month (42 percent)
• Total increase – Rs 8280-7560=Rs 720 per month
• Annual increase – 720×12=8640 rupees

Monthly and annual increase if basic salary is Rs 56900

• Basic salary Rs 56,900 per month
• New DA- Rs 26,174 per month (46 percent)
• Current DA- Rs 23,898 per month (42 percent)
• Increased DA- 26,174-23,898= Rs 2276 per month
• Annual increase – 2276×12= Rs 27312
