Whereas, the price of 23 carat, 22 carat, 18 carat and 14 carat is Rs 60,067, 55,242, 45,230 and 35,280 respectively. In the global market, the prices of gold and silver are exempt from taxes. At present, gold is cheaper by Rs 1489 per 10 grams than its highest recorded price. Noteworthy. That gold had reached its all-time high on 4 May 2023, when its price was Rs 61646 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver is still declining from its highest level of Rs.8608 per kg. Its highest recorded price is Rs 79980 per kg.
