Ambala :- PM Narendra Modi had announced the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, due to which this festival is celebrated every year. This time too, in the series of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign will be launched in the state. Under this campaign, the Indian Flag will be hoisted in every house on the occasion of Independence Day. The country became independent on 15 August 1947, since then 15 August is celebrated as Independence Day.

The names of great patriots, leaders and actors are involved in giving freedom to the country. There were many patriots who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. Among these big faces, many great personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sukhdev etc. tried to get freedom. The purpose of running 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign is to awaken the spirit of patriotism among the people.

The campaign will be run from 13 to 15 August

Under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, the national flag will be hoisted in every village and city on the occasion of Independence Day. About 5 lakh national flags will be distributed under this campaign. This campaign will be run by the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department from 13 to 15 August 2023. The main objective of Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan is to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people. Also, they have to remind those people of the country. Flags will be distributed among 5 lakh people

The national flag Indian will be made available to about 5 lakh citizens at ration depots. Any person can take the Indian flag from the Depot. For this people will have to pay Rs 25 per flag. Last year also when this campaign was launched, flags were hoisted in every house in every city and village of the state. From today these Indian flags will start being available in the depot.
