The person who has not yet linked Pan Card to Aadhar Card, now he will have to pay a fine for getting the link done. The central government is thinking about the facility of linking Aadhaar card with PAN card through post office in rural areas.
There will be no relaxation in fee payment
In response to the petition of Adhir Chaudhary, Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, to provide similar services "free", the Union Finance Ministry has said. no possibility to extend the deadline
Chowdhary alleged that many people in villages are being duped by touts and middlemen while trying to link PAN card with Aadhaar. He has also submitted a demand to increase the time period for linking PAN and Aadhaar card. In a response on June 27, Union Minister of State for Finance, Pankaj Chowdhary told that the last date for linking these two was mainly fixed as September 30, 2019 and later it was extended from time to time. In such a situation, the time limit cannot be extended under any circumstances.
